Air Marshall Rao Qamar Suleman has taken over the charge of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Chief. In a change of command ceremony of Pakistan Air Force on Wednesday, the outgoing Air Chief Marshall Tanveer Mehmood handed over the PAF command to its new chief Air Marshall Rao Qamar Suleman. He is the 19th PAF chief. The ceremony was held at the PAF headquarters in Islamabad. Earlier, the outgoing Air Chief Marshall Tanveer Mehmood inspected the guard of honour. Addressing the ceremony Air Chief Marshall Tanveer Mehmood said we have entered into the new millennium and the Air Force would have to be equipped with high-tech equipments. He said we have decided to change and it was underway. PAF has always faced the challenges valiantly and will continue to play its role for the defence of Pakistan.
