ISLAMABAD - Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan Mian Manzoor Ahmed Watoo visited the FIA Headquarters the other day and inquired about his former colleague of the cabinet Hamid Saeed Kazmi who is in the custody of the agency on five-day physical remand. The sources in FIA disclosed on Thursday that Wattoo met former Religious Affairs Minister Mr Kazmi, main accused in the Haj scam, after he was shifted from the agencys Iqbal Town Office to the headquarters. The sources said that the Minister advised his former colleague not to lose hope saying all the things would be settled in the days to come. FIA on Thursday also formally informed Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza about the arrest of Hamid Saeed Kazmi. It is the requirement of the Constitution that Speaker NA must be informed about the arrest of any members of the Lower House of the Parliament. FIA also informed about the details of Kazmis arrest to the Speakers Chamber.
