KHANEWAL - The history of Pakistan tells us that the Pakistan People’s Party never believe in the supremacy of judiciary and always acts against the Constitution. Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani is now openly threatening the judiciary in public meeting and this act of the chief executive of the country is tantamount to inciting the innocent young generation and the common man for contempt of courts.

Pakistan Tereek-e-Insaf (PTI) Central leader Makhdoon Javed Hashmi expressed the views while speaking to the mediamen at a press conference held at the office of PTI Tehsil Vice Present Rana Naveed Ahmad here on Saturday.

Javed Hashmi disclosed (without elaborating the name) that a political party would soon join them soon, adding that some political figures of the country would also announce joining the PTI. The veteran politician alleged that both the PPP and PML-N were planning to letdown the PTI, adding that nothing could stop the tsunami of people looking a revolution in the country through the efforts of Imran Khan and his team.

PTI local leadership including Rana Naveed Ahmad, Haji Aziz Rasool, Sattar Jut, Rana Usman, Misaq Anjum, Hakim Javedul Hassan, Col (r) Abid Shah Khagga and Col(r) Iqbal Dhulu were present on the occasion.

The PTI central leader dispelled the impression that he and his erstwhile arrival Makdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi were joining the PML-N. All such rumours are baseless, unfound and disinformation by our opponents who wants cheap publicity through such daydreaming,” Hashmi contested. He disclosed that PTI Chairman Imran Khan would visit Khanewal soon and would address a public meeting.

This will be the one of the biggest ever public gathering in the history of Khanewal while will serve as an eye-opener for the opponents,” he argued.

Earlier, Makhdoom Javed Hasmi visited the residence of PML-N leader Dr Waqar Ahmad Khan Daha in company of scores of PTI workers and offered condolence over the demise of his father Major(r) Aftab Ahmad Daha.

On the occasion, Javed Hashmi showered praises and lauded the services of late senior Daha in political struggle of the people of Khanewal.

He urged Dr Waqar Daha to continue the mission of his late father. Former PPP MNA Major (r) Riffat Hayat Khan Daha was also present on the occasion.
