ISLAMABAD – Newly-appointed interim committee of Rawalpindi Region met under the chair of its chairman Col (r) Naushad Ali here on Monday. Members Nadeem Abbasi and Mohsin Ali were also present there. Naushad, along with members, formally took charge. Talking to media, Naushad said: “Domestic season is over and it is golden time for us to work on different ideas and start different activities. This region has tremendous potential as it has produced quality players who represented the country at international level. Rawalpindi Region has six zones including Jhelum, Chakwal, AJK, Attock, Mianwali and Rawalpindi. We will soon visit all the zones and closely work with them to get talent and also hold training camps for umpires and start refresher courses involving top physical trainers.”–Staff Reporter
