PTI leaders including a former state minister and its district president alleged that a PML-N MNA along with his two brothers has grabbed graveyard land and constructing a filling station at Gulberg Town despite a stay order issued by the court by abusing his power.

Addressing a press conference, Rana Raheel Ahmed said that MNA Mian Imtiaz and his brothers were constructing a petrol filling pump on the land of graveyard meant for its passageway.  He alleged that the MNA controlled the DPO office while his elder brother Haji Ibrahim ran the matters of DCO Office. He further said that his younger brother Mian Ijaz Aamir looked the affairs of TMA and even all tenders of developmental projects were finalised with his consent.

He said the PTI would not remain silent and raise a voice against the extortion by the three brothers. He added that PTI would be a party in the case in the illegal construction case.

Former state minister Zafar Iqbal Warriach said that the PTI would present official and video proof in support of their stance. He also questioned how they got gas connection for their housing scheme despite a ban. He said that his party would block every illegal work and way of corruption.  He said that the PTI would take all the political and religious parties, civil society and common public on board against their illegal works, and start a movement from March 25, 2015.
