4 booked for distributing pamphlets of banned outfit

PESHAWAR - Counter terrorism Police on Thursday arrested four suspected terrorists when they were distributing pamphlets of a banned organization in Peshawar.
Police sources said that the arrest was made at Pajgi road when four persons were distributing pamphlets of a banned organization based in Khyber Agency.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Anas son of Turab resident of Tehkal, Mohammad Taeeb son of Taraz resident of Tehkal, Attaullah son of Saleem resident Daggi, Seed Akbar Shah son of Seed Mahmood Shah, resident of Sufed Derai Peshawar.
Police registered FIR and recovered hundreds of pamphlets from their possession.
Meanwhile city police also launched search operation in scattered parts of the city and arrested 75 persons including nine afghan nationals in Faqir Abad, Pahari Pora, Peshtakhara, Kotwali and Hayatabad.
During search operation police recovered pistols, cartridges and repeaters.
The search operation was assisted by lady police officers to check out various houses of the suspected persons.
Security has been put on red alert after Peshawar bomb blast in passenger coach. Police are searching various locations to trace out the presence of alleged militants in the city.
