Twenty-one people were killed and 28 others injured when a truck carrying labourers collided with a cargo trailer in Radhanpur taluka of Gujarat's Patan district on Sunday night, police said. The dead included ten women and five children, they added. The accident occurred near Sinod Patiya village on the National Highway No 14, police said. The truck carrying labourers collided head-on with the trailer coming from opposite direction from Gandhidham. According to Patan Superintendent of Police Aloksingh Gehlot, 21 people, including five children and ten women, were killed on the spot while 28 others were injured. "The injured have been admitted to Radhanpur civil hospital and Patan civil hospital," Gehlot said.
