KUALA LUMPUR (APP) - Pakistan half-back Sajjad Anwar spent three hours in the Kuantan hospital for the treatment of the neck on Saturday night during the Asian Cup final. Sajjad collided with Korean penalty corner specialist Kim Byung Hoon while dashing to block his effort. Talented Sajjad Anwar, who put up a fine display in the event, was taken on a stretcher from the ground on way to the hospital. He underwent treatment scanning of his neck and received several injections. However, after precautionary stay in the hospital he was discharged with neck protection collar around. Sajjad said that he was having pains and feeling difficulty in moving his neck. He traveled with the team on team coach and will be flying to Karachi with the team.
