ISLAMABAD – Owner of one of Islamabad’s oldest book shop “Mr Books” Mohammad Yousaf has been kidnapped for a ransom of Rs 20.5 million from the jurisdiction of Kohsar Police Station.

SHO Kohsar Police station told Online that the driver of kidnapped victim told the police that on May 09 when they were going home they stopped at a petrol pump to get fuel for their car when Mohammad Yousaf told the driver that one of his female relative is coming and he would sit in his car and the driver should follow him.

The driver further told the police that after getting fuel a woman aged between 30 to 35 came with her driver and Mohammad Yousaf sat in their car and told him that he should go home and if he needs him he would call.

Later the family got a phone call from his captors and it was found that Mohammad Yousaf has been kidnapped and they were demanding Rs 20.5 million as ransom.

According to police, Saad Yousaf, son of Mohammad Yousaf, has asked for registering an FIR and an FIR has been registered and investigations have been started. However according to police, the kidnappers in their recent call have reduced the ransom money to Rs 4 million.
