PESHAWAR - One person was killed and four others sustained injuries in two separate incidents in provincial metropolis on Thursday.In the first incident, explosives planted by unidentified miscreants adjacent to a spare parts shop at Scheme Chowk exploded, killing owner of the shop, while two others sustained injuries. According to bomb disposal squad, about 500 grams of explosives were used in the blast. The shop was partially damaged. The police soon after the incident rushed to the site and cordoned off the area, while the injured were shifted to a hospital where their condition was stated to be stable.Similarly, in another incident, two security guards, Haris and Tawheed, of a private company were injured in another blast that occurred at Phase-V of Hayatabat in Peshawar. Locals said that a hand grenade was hurled towards the guards who were guarding a checkpost jointly with police. The injured guards were shifted to Hayatabad Medical Complex. Their condition is out of danger.  Police officials said that was a minute blast.
