PPP seeks revenge through cases against us, says Nawaz

ISLAMABAD – PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif Thursday said that PPP government was forging cases against them under a policy of political victimisation.Talking to a private TV channel, he said that all these actions were nothing more than revengeful acts of the government against him and his associates. “Whenever I visit Sindh, government feels a pain,” he said. The PML-N president refused to comment on appointment of new Election Commissioner, saying his party members would give party stance in the relevant parliamentary committee.Bashing the central govt over its ‘flawed’ foreign policy, Nawaz said reopening of Nato supply without implementation of joint resolutions of parliament would be a shameful act. Those resolutions clearly state that supplies would only be restored if the US would apologise for Salala attack, besides calling for action against all the culprits involved in the attack that martyred 24 Pakistani soldiers, he said.“How a nation depending on US money could demand them to apologise? The government has never kept her words,” Nawaz said, adding that government has always betrayed the people. The US did not apologise when it was even more essential, when three innocent Pakistani’s were killed brutally by CIA agent Raymond Davis.
