Punjab gov all praise for KSA

LAHORE - Punjab Governor Ch Muhammad Sarwar has lauded the Saudi Government for helping Pakistan at every hour of trial.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have decades old strong friendly ties which are growing with the passage of time, the Governor said while addressing at a reception hosted in honour of Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Abdul Aziz Al-Ghadeer by Khateeb Badshahi Mosque and Chairman Interfaith Council Pakistan, Maulana Syed Abdul Khabeer Azad on Friday.
Ch Sarwar highly commended the role played by Saudi Ambassador in cementing Pakistan, Saudi Arabia ties. He said Pakistan at present is indeed passing through a difficult phase but the nation is committed to surmount the situation and defeat the challenges. The Governor was quite confident that Pakistan will succeed in beating the challenges very soon.
While lauding the love and peaceful co-existence between the people of different faiths in Pakistan, the governor also appreciated effort of ulema and religious scholars in the creation of such environment which promoted understanding about each other and inculcated need to live in peace and love. He quoted Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah as saying about equal rights for the minorities in Pakistan and added, if Pakistan has to be made a prosperous and developed country, we must care about the rights and sentiments of others.
Besides Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad, Allama Niaz Hussain Naqvi, Prof Dr Abdul Haq Pirzada, Bishop Sebastian and Sardar Janam Singh among others also spoke on the occasion.
