QUETTA : Unknown armed miscreants on a motorcycle gunned down a policeman here on Sunday and escaped from the scene. Police said that cop Khadim Hussain was on his way to join the duty when armed men opened fire at him near Saryab road. As a result of firing the cop died on the spot while assailants fled the scene. The body was shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta where it was handed over to heirs after postmortem.
The police after registering a case against unidentified killers have started investigation.
