India backing terrorists in Pakistan: Asif

SIALKOT
Federal Minister for Defence, Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said that India is supporting the terrorists in Pakistan while Pakistan wants durable peace in its neighbouring countries including India.
Addressing a public meeting at far-off bordering village Kingra-Pasrur, the federal minister said that the government was well aware of the situation and committed to weeding out terrorism from the country.
He said that as the armed forces of Pakistan had been playing an excellent role in uprooting insurgency and terrorism from the country and were committed to purging Pakistan of the menace.
He said that the government had launched Zarb-e-Azb which has been achieving its goals and meeting with great success. He said that the whole nation stands united against terrorism and ready to sacrifice even their lives while battling against terrorism along with the armed forces.
He said that Pakistan always played frontline role against terrorism besides sacrificing a lot for elimination of terrorism and establishment of durable peace globally.
He expressed complete solidarity with the border villagers against the hostilities of Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) along the Sialkot Working Boundary here.
He said that the time was ripe to fulfill all the political promises made with the masses. He said that the government was also striving to eliminate the backwardness of the Sialkot villages by raising their living standard through provision of all the basic facilities at their doorsteps. He said that the early elimination of the backwardness of the villagers was the priority of the government.
Earlier, he laid the foundation stone of a project of establishing Govt Girls Degree College at bordering village Bajra Garhi. He also inaugurated the project of construction and conversion of Sialkot-Kingra Road in Pasrur tehsil.
He said that the government was spending Rs1.20 billion on these projects for providing education and communication facilities for the girl students and common public. He said that the government would spend Rs56 billion on the establishment of Sialkot-Lahore Expressway.
The federal minister said that the government’s effective policies would soon give economic and political boost to the country. He added that it was committed to early resolving all the crises on top priority, saying that only the PML-N had the capability to pull the country out of crises.
He claimed that his government had put the country on the highway to national, political and economic stability. He narrated that a golden era of national development and prosperity has begun in the country under the leadership of PM Nawaz Sharif. The world would soon see a developed Pakistan as the government was utilising all the national natural resources to develop the country.
MNA Armughan Subhani, MPAs Rana Liaqat Ali, Tariq Akhtar Subhani,  Rana M Afzal, M Ikram, Zulfiqar Ghauri and AJK MLA-M Ishaq were also present.
