KHANEWAL -The Punjab government has issued funds worth over Rs1.88 billion to the Punjab district administrations to provide facilities for the public.

The government provided a sum of over Rs 4 million for Khanewal administration, Rs22.4 million for Multan, Rs22.6 million for Mianwali, Rs26 million for Bhakar, Rs28.7 million for Okara, Rs15.65 million for Lodhran, Rs39.75 million for Vehari, Rs24.35 million for Sahiwal, Rs17.2 million for Pakpatan, Rs32.25 million for Toba Taik Singh, Rs26.35 million for Jhang, Rs23.9 million for Dera Ghazi Khan, Rs12.95 million for Raganpur, Rs29.25 for Muzaffargarh, Rs25.5 million for Layyah, Rs26.9 for Bahawalpur, Rs33.1 for Bahawalnagar, and Rs39.75 were released for RahimYar Khan.

DACOITIES: Two incidents of armed robbery took place. The robbers snatched motorcycles, cash and mobile phones on gunpoint.

Sajad Hassan who lives near General Bus Stand kabirwala was coming back to his home. Meanwhile, two armed robbers intercepted him and robbed him of Rs30,000, mobile and his motorcycle and fled away.

In the other incident, robbers snatched a motorcycle and Rs10,000 from one Muhammad Afzal at Pul Rango  when he was coming back to his home.
