My heart goes out for the Ismaili community in this time of pain and sorrow. They have set an amazing example of patience despite the immensity of their loss; they have pulled themselves together and have exhibited remarkable endurance. There has been no protest, no sit-ins as practiced by other communities. They are silently mourning their loss and patiently waiting for justice. It is our government’s foremost duty to avenge this crime. They should be acknowledged as peaceful and loving people and our equal. They do follow a different religious ritual but are surely better human beings than us and we must all take a leaf out of their book.
