Passing-out parade of Mehsud Scouts held in Bara after 10 years

BARA:  A passing-out parade of Mehsud Scouts was held in Khyber Agency’s tehsil Bara after 10 years on Wednesday.

Acording to details, as many as 261 cadets participated in the parade which was deferred for 10 years due to security situation in the region.

During the ceremony, the efforts of the security forces in restoring peace were applauded while the attendees also appreciated valour and sacrifices of the officers.

Talking at the ceremony, chief guest commander Mehsud Scouts Ayub Sukhera announced clearing the area from militants. He said that corporals have learnt advanced war techniques to combat every kind of situation and attacks.

The commander said that prosperity and peace have returned to the region with the help of determined personnel.
