HAFIZABAD-An All-out effort is being made to upgrade the rural health centres in the province so as to provide better healthcare especially in the remote areas, said Punjab Secretary Women Development Bushra Aman.

During her visit to Rural Health Centres at Kaleke Mandi and Kot Sarwar along with AC Umar Farooq Warraich, DDO Health Dr. Rehan Azhar, she said that Punjab government was determined to provide all sorts of medical equipments and post doctors and paramedical staff in the RHCs for the provision of better healthcare in the villages and also in the DHQ and THQ hospitals.

She advised the medical officers and paramedics to be honest and polite towards the patients to mitigate their sufferings.

PEACE CLAIMS: Police have tightened noose around drug mafia, cattle lifters and their facilitators to control crime, claimed District Police Officer Haroon Joya.

He called upon the public to extend their cooperation to ensure peace in the district. Addressing an open court, he said that lists of criminals are being prepared. With the cooperation of Awami Coordination Committees, Tahafuz Committees and conciliation committees’, anti-social elements and their facilitators to be taken to task, he added.
