Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, has stated that the inept ministers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government are responsible for the destruction of the country.
While he was in conversation with the media in Sialkot, the PML-N leader stated that it was PML-N behind controlling inflation and load shedding during its tenure. The present government is mingled in a number of scandals, he added.
Earlier, Shehbaz Sharif condemned Israeli attacks on the oppressed Palestinians in Al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramazan.
While addressing the floor of the Lower House, he stated that the Israeli airstrikes bombarded the Gaza strip resulting in the destruction of hundreds of homes. Shehbaz Sharif further stated that the Palestinians had been a victim of oppression at the hands of Israeli forces since 1948.
The opposition leader criticized Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s statement about Article 370 as well, which stated that it is an internal matter of India. He said that expecting such a statement from the Foreign Minister of a country is very disappointing.
He concluded by urging the leaders of the Muslim world to unite in these difficult times.
