LAHORE - All Parties Conference should be called to eliminate student wings from varsities, code of conduct is a must for student unions, students should focus on their studies along with politics, there is no justification of students unions, political leaders use students for vested interests, politics and education are separate, we must determine our preference. These mixed views were expressed by various speakers at a seminar held under the aegis of Punjab University on "Educational Institutions and Wings of Political Parties?" here at New Campus on Monday. He urged the students to focus on their studies along with politics and if they protest, they must keep in mind that it could not affect their educational career. MNA and member Pakistan Muslim League (N) group Khawja Saad Rafique said the wings of political parties in the educational institutions were very harmful as political leaders use the students for their vested interests. He said students' first duty is to complete education. He said if a student wanted to join politics, he should join the youth wing of a political party instead of doing politics in varsity.
