QUETTA - Four people were killed and two others wounded in an armed clash between two groups in Bolan district on Saturday while father of the Prime Minister Complaint Cell in charge was kidnapped from Chagai district.

Levies officials said an armed clash between two groups in Hafth Wali area left four people dead and two with serious wounds. Law enforcement agencies reached the site after the incident and cordoned off the area to stave off any further clash. The dead and injured were shifted to a hospital. The deceased were identified as Sardar Ali, Ghulam Haider, Duda Khan and Rustam while injured were identified as Juma Khan and Allah Dina.

Sources said that motive behind the clash was a dispute over a piece of land between Kapri and Rind tribes. In another incident, unidentified gunmen kidnapped a man, Mir Asif Sanjarani, from Nokundi area of Chagai district when he was on way home.  Sanjarani is a father of Mir Sadiq Sanjarani, in-charge of the Prime Minister Complaint Cell.

Levies officials said that security was tightened at all routes lead to borders with Iran and Afghanistan so that the kidnappers could not shift him other side of the border.
