Lahore like company on the cards

MULTAN - Divisional Commissioner Muhammad Khurram Agha has said that a Multan Solid Waste Management Company will soon be established on pattern of Lahore in collaboration with a Turkish company for introducing a latest sanitation mechanism.
Talking to a delegation of Turkish solid waste experts here on Saturday, he added that at least 900 ton solid waste collected in Multan on a daily basis and modern machinery was being purchased for the purpose.
He disclosed that Multan was the only city in Punjab where landfill site was developed while another patch of land was also purchased for developing second site.
He hoped that the sanitation conditions would improve after signing the agreement with the Turkish company.
President's 'say' on Seraiki province flayed: Punjab Auqaf and Religious Affairs minister Haji Ehsan Uddin Qureshi on Saturday criticised the statement of President Zardari regarding Seraiki province, saying that he (zardari) was playing with the sentiments of the residents of South Punjab.
"He is the man who is doing politics on this issue for the last four years. It's tantamount to making mockery of residents of this region by saying that this province can't be made while sitting in the same region," he maintained while addressing workers.
He anticipated that the masses would reject all those doing politics of lies and fraud. He said that Multan was the fortress of PML-N and soon bigwigs of the PPP were going to quit their party.
