LAHORE - Hundreds of Sikh Yatrees will visit Pakistan on Friday to mark the birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak, a spokesman of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) said yesterday.

He said that ETPB Chairman Siddiqul Farooq, Chief of Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee Sardar Shaam Singh and other Sikh leaders will say welcome to the Yatrees at Wagha Railway Station.

The board has made arrangements for the security of Yatrees, the official said, adding that Yatrees will depart for Hassan Abdal on the same day and on November 22, they will move for Nankana Sahib.

“On November 24, they will visit Sucha Souda Farooqabad and on November 25, they will go to Gurdwara Janam Asthan Nankana Sahib. On November 25, a main ceremony will be held in Nankana Sahib.”

Yatrees will stay in Gurdwara Dera Sahib Lahore on November 26 and 27. Next day they will move for Gurdwara Darbar Sahib district Narowal and after performing their r rites they will go back India on November 29, the spokesman said.
