Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has expedited the integration plan of merging tribal districts with the province to ensure better administrative management and rapid development of erstwhile FATA, according to Radio Pakistan.

A spokesman of the provincial government told our Peshawar correspondent that four more Directorates of the tribal districts have been merged with relevant departments.

These include FATA Directorate of Agriculture, Forests, Irrigation and Hydel Power, and Sports.

The spokesman said Directorates of Health, Zakat, Usher and Social Welfare, Population Welfare and Education have already been merged with relevant provincial departments.
