Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Capital Development Authority Affairs Ali Awan has said that the economy was being strengthened with the improvement in trade volume with the neighbouring countries.
While talking to a private news channel, Ali Awan said that the newly-elected government was primarily focusing on boosting the economy and uplifting the poor people of the country.
He said that the Naya Pakistan Housing Society and Lahore shelter programmes were proving the government’s sincerity towards helping Pakistan become a better nation and country.
Replying to a question regarding accountability process, Ali Awan said that the National Accountability Bureau was an independent institution and the government has nothing to do with its official matters.
