ISLAMABAD - SACHET Pakistan and Plan Pakistan under RAH (Responsible Actions for Health) Program, is organizing a medical camp for the communities of Alipur Frash (Phase I & II) one of the slum areas in Islamabad on Sunday (Today). In this camp Gynae, Pediatrics and skin patients would be treated by specialists and free medicines will be provided. Free medical camp is planned from 09:30am to 4:30pm at Government Girls Primary School, Frash Town, Road No 2, said a press release. Society for Advancement of Community, Health, Education and Training (SACHET) since its inception in 1999, is working with Christian minorities living in the slums of Islamabad and offering them health services including Reproductive health care to women and adolescents, the statement said. Currently SACHET is in partnership with Plan International, which is a child centered community development international organization working for the education, health, livelihood, Child rights and Gender issues in Pakistan for implementing an innovative project (RAH). The specific target audience of this project is adolescents (boys and girls) who in spite of being a demographic dividend are neglected, especially those belonging to the poorest of the poor ranks, at policy, program and visible actions level.
