Kerry comes with his Law

ISLAMABAD - Senator John Kerry will arrive here today (Sunday) on a two-day visit, sources informed TheNation on Saturday. During his visit, the Senator will meet President Zardari, Prime Minister Gilani, heads of opposition parties and higher military authorities. The sources revealed that focus of John Kerrys visit would be to take government of Pakistan as well as opposition parties into confidence over Kerry-Lugar Bill (KLB). When contacted, Foreign Office spokesperson confirmed that Kerry would arrive Pakistan during the next week. The spokesperson said that Kerry would hold meetings with President and Prime Minister of Pakistan and Kerry-Lugar Bill would remain the centre of these meetings. Senator will hold meetings with top military authorities also, it was added. Other than KLB, security condition of region will also come under discussion, spokesperson said. According to sources of US Embassy, after spending two busy days here in federal capital, Kerry will fly to Kabul where he is expected to meet top Afghan government officials.
