US Senator John Kerry is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on a two-day visit on Sunday, report said. Senator Kerrys visit was aimed at brushing out the apprehensions raised by various sections of Pakistani society on Kerry-Lugar act of which he was a proposer. Senator Kerry, who also chairs US Senates powerful Foreign Relations Committee, will be accompanied by senior US officials who will analyze the proposed schemes to be funded with the US aid coming to Pakistan under the law. He would call on various government officials during his stay in Islamabad, the channel added.
