It is very distressing to see that after sixty five years Pakistan lacks a hospital that could have provided treatment to Malala Yousafzai. This seems to be another nail in the coffin of this government, that has loudly claimed that they have brought prosperity and growth to Pakistan. I would like to know why Pakistan does not have even one hospital to cater to the needs of Malala. She has been sent, on government expense to UK, but what of those who cannot go abroad for treatment?

When will Pakistan become self-reliant in medical and education sector? The government needs to take serious steps to improve the two basic sectors, health and education in Pakistan, so that we can get the best treatment and the best education here. All my prayers go to Malala for an early recovery.
