LAHORE – The Punjab Education Foundation (PEF) has provided free education to 1.1 million needy students up to metric in 36 districts of the province under the Schools Programme aimed at providing free education to poor students.

Due to this project, the enrolment ratio had increased considerably in the low literacy rate areas of the province, said PEF Chairman Raja Muhammad Anwar while talking to a 25-member delegation of owners of partner schools of Burewala. Officers of the PEF were also present on the occasion.
