PESHAWAR - Iranian Governor General, Faris Province, Hussain Sadiq Abideen, is scheduled to visit Pakistan next month. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has invited him to visit the province.

Iranian Counsul General Hussain Darvesh Wand said this during a meeting with Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti on Wednesday.

The CM welcomed the visit of the Governor Faris and said that his visit will further strengthen the existing religious, cultural, trade and industrial relations between the two countries. He said that he can’t forget the love and warmth he received during his visit to Sheraz and Asfhan. He directed the concerned departments to make Governor Faris visit a success story using all-out resources. He also directed for finalization of the schedule meetings and visits of the guest during his stay in the province in consultation with the Iranian Consulate.

He lauded the efforts of Hassan Darvesh in realizing the visit of KPK delegation to Iran and now Governor General Faris visit to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The CM said that Iranian business community has ample opportunities of investment in tourism, hydel power generation and other sectors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that people of both the countries will benefit from investment in these sectors. He said that the investors will be provided protection and all possible assistance in establishing their businesses.

The Chief Minister said that situation in the province was fvaourable for investments. He hoped that the visit of the Governor and his delegation will create long lasting impacts.  The Iranian Consul General thanked the Chief Minister on his personal efforts for laying foundation of fruitful relations between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Iran’s provinces.
