LAHORE – The Patients Welfare Society (PWS) has announced to donate Rs5 million for the installation of a new tubewell at the Lahore General Hospital (LGH).

This information was shared at a meeting of LGH administration that was also attended by PWS office-bearers and administrative doctors.

Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Principal Prof Anjam Habib Vohra said that the PWS was selflessly helping the patients. He said that the installation of a tubewell was necessary because of expansion and growing needs of the hospital.

Prof Vohra lauded the role of the PWS for undertaking the responsibility of tubewell installation and said that PWS office-bearers would be given representation in the monitoring committee of the project. He also resolved to complete the scheme in a transparent manner.
