Islamabad - Barrister Usman Ibrahim, minister of state for capital administration and development division (CADD), has assured the daily-wage staff working under CADD that their salaries would be released next week.

Ibrahim chaired a meeting regarding the issue of daily-wage employees at CADD on Friday.

He assured them that the salaries of all daily-wage employees including teaching and non-teaching staff would be released next week. He directed the officials to prepare a summary/case to regularise those daily-wage employees who have been working for quite a long time and have already cleared the medical examination. “We acknowledge their hard work and efforts, therefore they would be given first priority to be adjusted/regularised against the available posts,” said the minister.

Approximately there are 1,800 daily-wage employees in total whose data has been collected and verified by the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). After the approval of director general Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), the case would be forwarded to ministry of finance for approval of regularisation of those daily-wage employees.

Moreover, the minister directed the establishment division to form a committee to see whether or not those daily-wage employees who have not cleared their medical examination can be regularised. The daily-wage employees are divided into four categories; firstly those who have cleared their medical exam; secondly those who have been notified by the establishment division as well as CADD; thirdly those who have been notified by establishment division only; and lastly those who have not been notified by both CADD and establishment division.
