A roaring business

Some time back, a group of French tourists was going by road through Balochistan to Iranian border when armed men kidnapped them. Eventually, they kept only one tourist in their custody and released the others. The detainee was released recently but there was no mention of ransom in the papers. Shall we say that this is the covert method of supplying money for weapons to the traitors of Pakistan in Balochistan? A UN official was also kidnapped from Quetta some time ago and released after months of detention in identical fashion. In Afghanistan, 23 Koreans were kidnapped by Taliban who later claimed that they got one million dollars for release of each of the Koreans. Has somebody tried to investigate these incidents? -Z. -ISRAR, Karachi, September 2.
