ISLAMABAD (APP) - As Eid-ul-Fitr is drawing nearer, the eid preparations have gained momentum with great hustle and bustle in the main markets of twin cities. The people of all ages especially youngsters are busy in buying trendy apparel, shoes, bangles, henna and other traditional commodities to mark this religious festival with great zeal and fervour. With each passing day, huge rush of buyers is being witnessed in almost all markets and shopping arcades of the twin cities including Super market, Jinnah Super, Aabpara, Karachi Company, Commercial Market and Moti Bazar. Most of the markets have been artistically decorated and illuminated with colorful lights to attract buyers especially during night. People from all segments of society throng bazaars during the last days of Ramazan and buying continue till late at night as all young and old, poor and rich equally want to participate in Eid celebration after the whole month of fasting. The frequently visited shopping centers and fashionable markets are flooded with domestic and foreign goods and shopkeepers have displayed varieties of ready-made garments, cloths, shoes, cosmetics and eye-catching jewelry. In every nook and corner of the cities, the shopkeepers usually start decorating their shops with bright lights, balloons and other accessories by mid of Ramazan, to attract buyers.
