ISLAMABAD - Awami Muslim League President, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad, on Saturday predicted that fate of MQM politics in Karachi would be decided within a fortnight after which the security situation in Sindh would improve fast. Rashid was of the view that all ethnicities of Pakistan living in Karachi should unite under this countrys flag for long-lasting peace in the provincial capital. To a question, he said, Sindh floods would affect PPP vote bank in the next general elections. Sheikh Rashid was addressing a press conference here at National Press Club. On the occasion he suggested the federal government to launch a campaign of blood survey in the country like past. He said that Punjab government was taking a solo flight to control dengue epidemic in the province in a bid to hide their incompetency. They need to engage all the political parties in the practice, he added. Rashid said that National Institute of Health (NIH) was overburdened, as in whole the province PCRs recommended test to check dengue fever was not available. He said that allied hospitals in Rawalpindi were in pathetic condition. He demanded of the imposition of emergency in allied hospitals.
