15 outlaws held in Islamabad


ISLAMABAD - Islamabad Police on Monday arrested 15 outlaws from various areas of the city and recovered weapons, drugs and looted items from their possession, a police spokesman said on Monday.
According to a press note issued from office of SSP Islamabad police, Sub-Inspector Muhammad Yousuf from Aabpara police arrested a thief identified as Ibrahim and recovered stolen purses, ATM card and cash from him. ASI Turab ul Hassan from Golrea police arrested Ayub Khan for having 30 bore pistol while ASI Muhammad Ishaq from Sabzi mandi police nabbed Nauman in possession of 30 bore pistol.
Sub-Inspector Javed Iqbal from Shehzad town police recovered 30 bore pistol from murder accused Lal Badshah while Inspector Zulfiqar Ahmed from CIA police nabbed Imtiaz for possessing 50 gram heroin.
Following the directions of IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan for crackdown against guest houses involved in criminal activities, Station House Officer of Sabzi Mandi police Asjad Mehmud and Sub-Inspector Muhammad Khan raided at House No.76, sector I-10/1 after getting search warrant and arrested seven persons for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.  The nabbed persons have been identified as Jameel,  Akhtar Hussain, Sultan Mehmud, Sadiq, Shazia, Shakeel and Sehr.
Similarly, ASI Muhammad Arif raided at House No. 660, in sector I-10/1 and arrested Abid, Nida Ashraf and Aiani for their alleged involvement in immoral activities.
SSP Islamabad Yaseen Farooq has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to ensure effective policing measures in the city.
