Doctor’s appointment in dispensary demanded

ISLAMABAD - Non-appointment of doctor in government dispensary at Pind Begowal has added to the miseries of the residents.
This village is largest village of the federal capital as its population runs into 40000 but they all are living the life of outcast or third rated citizens as no medical facilities have been provided by the government, said Muhammad Sharif a teacher.
Only one dispensary has been built which has also lost its meaning as it is running without doctor since long, said a group of residents. A dispenser is running it who is unquestioned king of all affairs, he added. His visits are also few and far between. He comes to dispensary once or twice in a month, complained group of residents.
No medical facility is available in the dispensary and only paracetamol, cough syrup and panadol are provided, said a government employee.
The residents demanded immediate appointment of doctor in the dispensary besides upgradation of it to the status of hospital.
