The Indian border security forces hand over a 10-year-old Pakistani boy to Pakistani Chenab Rangers here on Tuesday.

The boy, identified as Qasim, a resident of village Nogaza crossed Indian border mistakenly. However, the Indian border security force handed him over to their Pakistani counterparts during a flag meeting convened for the purpose here.

Meanwhile, parents of the boy have expressed their happiness over the return of their son and thanked the Chenab Rangers officials for taking pain for the safe return of the boy.

AC resolves to end encroachments: The newly-posted Assistant Commissioner Umra Khan ordered demolition of illegal construction and fined various shopkeepers during inspection of different city areas here on Tuesday.

On the occasion, he ordered demolition of illegal construction on main road which had been hampering smooth flow of traffic besides fining several shopkeepers on the spot. He also directed the TMA sanitary staff to ensure cleanliness in the city on regular basis. He also warned the work shirkers to mend their way and vowed to show zero tolerance to such elements.

DIED: A villager namely Mohsin from Maryal died due to severe electric shocks. He was repairing an electric motor when sustained electric shocks which proved fatal and he died instantly.
