HAFIZABAD-A stone-hearted young man brutally killed his father in Hamza Town (Pindi Bhattian) on Tuesday as a sequel to a dispute over the distribution of small piece of land.
According to police source, Muhammad Javed wanted to get possession of five marlas land owned by his father Muhammad Abbas and they oftentimes quarrelled over the issue. On Tuesday Javed and his father exchanged harsh words over the issue. Thereupon, the flared-up brute allegedly pounced upon his father and attacked him with fists and club and killed him on the spot.
The accused managed to flee the scene. The locals shifted the dead body to THQ Hospital for autopsy and have got registered a case against the absconding accused.
DAYLIGHT ROBBERY: Another citizen was deprived of his brand-new motorcycle and cash amounting to Rs2,000 by three armed bandits in broad daylight.
According to police source, Javed Iqbal S/o Manzoor was on way to his house when three armed bike-jackers allegedly intercepted him near Mohallah Hussainpura, the busiest locality of the town and snatched away applied for motor bike and Rs2,000. The police are investigating.
