Children Film Festival in full swing

LAHORE  - The Fifth International Children Film Festival is continuing in the city under the aegis of City District Government Lahore (CDGL) and NGO the Little Art.
Films from Germany, Spain, US, Estonia and other countries are being screened at the festival. The films including Lily, The Magnificent, The Playfellow, Jal Pari, The Desert Mermaid were showcased on Tuesday. All the films were applauded by the audience that included over five thousand children from various city schools.
On the third day (Wednesday), two feature-length and 28 short films representing Germany, Taiwan, Belgium, Canada, Bangladesh and other countries will be showed at the festival.
Director of The Little Art Shoaib Iqbal told he was very glad for the popularity of the event. He hoped the annual event would become an essential part of the city’s cultural traditions in a few years.
 He said his NGO arranged the festival keeping in view the lack of entrainment for children.
