LAHORE - Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has directed Punjab Inspector General Police to ensure transparency in recruitment to police.
In a handout issued on Tuesday, the CM said the written test for the recruitment of 5,000 constables will be conducted by an independent agency instead of police department.
Meanwhile, IGP constituted a committee for each district to supervise recruitment process. Similarly, he formed a physical standard review headed by sessions judges to conduct physical fitness test.
