13-year-old girl killed in Indian cross-border firing

Indian war madness continued through cross-border firing in Nakyal Sector, Waqt News reported. Three civilians were injured including Munshi Ameen, and Mohammad Zahid , while a 13-year-old girl Liaba Shahbir, was killed, according to reports. Sources revealed that a strong response by the Pakistan forces silenced the Indian guns.

Meanwhile Pakistan on Friday lodged strong protest with Indian Deputy High Commissioner over civilian causalities in latest unprovoked ceasefire violations by India at the Line of Control (LoC).

The Indian Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. JP Singh was summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs by Dr. Mohammad Faisal, DG (SA & SAARC) today to protest against the killing of three civilians in Nakial sector due to the unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian Border Security Forces at the Line of Control on Thursday.

The Government of Pakistan expressed its deep concern at the continuous unprovoked ceasefire violations by the Indian Security Forces and the intentional targeting of innocent civilians, which is high condemnable.

Pakistan has stressed upon India to stop forthwith these Ceasefire violations and respect the 2003 Ceasefire arrangement in order to restore peace and tranquility at the LoC and the Working Boundary.

The government also extended its heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and prays for the departed souls and for the quick recovery of the injured
