Imran Khan doesn't wish to see MQM, PPP united: Farooq Sattar

LAHORE: MQM leader Farooq Sattar has stated that the PTI chairman does not wish to see good relations between the PPP and MQM, adding that the PTI chief has also failed to see the current scenario.

termed the Local Government (LG) polls in Punjab as juggling and said that public representatives, who would be elected under the LG act, will be powerless and the provincial government would enjoy the actual powers.

Talking to journalists in the premises of Lahore High Court (LHC), he said that the Punjab government had made a legislation regarding the Local Government and instead of handing over health and education to LG, it took these under its own supervision.

“All the powers of the LG have been deputed to provincial governments and the Chief Minister enjoys all the powers while LG representatives are powerless,” he added.

Responding to a question about PTI Chief Imran Khan, he advised him to checkup his eyesight as he sees nothing about the current scenario adding that he do not want to see the unity of PPP and MQM.
