BAHAWALPUR
Police and other law-enforcement agencies conducted search operations in different areas and arrested six suspects in the precincts of Musafirkhana, Uch Sharif and City Hasilpur police stations.
The police also seized 267 bottles of locally made and 12 bottles of imported liquor and 500 grams of Charas. Under the National Action Plan, an operation was conducted in Saddar Circle Bahawalpur, in the areas of Wahi Hussain, Khanpur and its surrounding areas. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SDPO Saddar Bahawalpur in which SHOs from Police Station Sama Satta, Abbasnagar, Saddar Bahawalpur and Musafir Khana participated.
In the areas of Police Station Musafir Khana in Mauza Wahi Hussain, the police recovered 80 litres of locally made liquor from Ahmad Bakhsh and 25 litres liquor from Rasheed Ahmad.
In City Circle Bahawalpur, search operation was conducted in 13 Solang, Hussaini Chowk and its surrounding areas in which SDPO Shafqat Nadeem Atta and SHOs from Police Station Kotwali, Civil Lines, Cantt and Baghdadul Jadeed along with their teams participated while Elite Force and Muhafiz Squad accompanied them.
In Circle Yazman, Pulli Anayatwali and Chak 41/DB were checked by SDPO Yazman and SHOs from Police Station Saddar Yazman, City Yazman, Head Rajkaan and Derawar during the search operation.
In Circle Ahmadpur East, Qadirabad Colony, Mauza Moosa Khokar, Uch Bukhari and its surrounding areas were checked under the supervision of SDPO Ahmadpur East Circle in which SHOs from Police Station City Ahmadpur East, Saddr Ahmadpur East, Dera Nawab, Naushera Jadeed, Dhoorkot, Uch Sharif and Channi Ghot participated. During search operation in the jurisdiction of Police Station Uch Sharif at Eid Gah Road, 12 bottles of imported liquor were recovered from Ratan Laal and a case was registered against him.
In Circle Hasilpur, search operation was conducted in Darbar Chowk, Khokarabad and its surroundings under the supervision of SDPO Circle Hasilpur in which SHOs from Police Station City Hasilpur, Saddr and Qayyampur participated.

During the search operation, the City Police recovered 100 litres liquor along with active furnace from Amjad Hussain of Khokarabad and from Ward 17 Ghareeb Muhallah, nabbed Abdul Shakoor with 50 litre liquor.
