Taji Khokar’s house raided, 20 suspects held, arms seized

Rawalpindi: Security forces raided the ancestral home of Taji Khokhar in the airport area today and arrested 20 suspects. Arms and ammunition and narcotics were seized from their possession.

According to a senior official who wished not to be named, the search operation was carried out by Rangers, police, the elite force and intelligence agencies in the wee hours of the day. The suspects were shifted to the Koral Police Station for further investigation.

Taji Khokha, who is the brother of former deputy speaker National Assembly, Haji Nawaz Khokhar, is under arrest in a murder case and has been accused of occupying the land of people after murdering them.
