Multan - The workers of PML-N held a candlelight vigil to express solidarity with the victims of Vehari Chowk blast. They also offered special prayers for the departed soul here on Thursday. The PML-N workers lit candles at the blast spot and prayed to the Allah Almighty to grant courage and patience to the heirs of the victims to bear this great loss.
A large number of citizens passing by also joined the vigil. Talking to the journalists on this occasion, PML-N city president Rana Shahid ul Hassan and Hamza Shahdi Lodhi said that a handful of terrorists could not disrupt country’s peace. They added that the time was near when these terrorists would be eliminated.
NEW MEPCO CHIEF NAMED: The ministry of water and power has appointed Engr. Fazal Ullah Durrani as new Chief Executive Officer of Multan Electric Power Company (Mepco).
he was serving as General Manager Technical in Mepco. Engr. Fazal Ullah Durrani is a senior officer of power sector with long experience in operation and other departments.
