A Wildlife Department team has recovered eight peacocks, three partridges, a crane and a deer from a house on Thursday.

District Wildlife Officer Mujahid Kaleem said that the raided a house in Hussainabad locality on a tip off. Owner of house Ghulam Muhammad was involved in the illegal business of wild birds and animals. The accused succeeded to escape from the scene.

He said that Ghulam Muhammad brought these wild birds and animals from Quetta and neighbouring countries and sell them illegally. He presented the case in the court of area magistrate Khan Ghayas who ordered him to send all the wild birds and animals in wildlife park Rahim Yar Khan.
