Nowadays, our film industry is heading towards success but we also see a new trend adopted from neighboring country, which is an ‘Item Number’ and vulgarity which they call a part of entertainment. It is a plus point that Pakistani audience proved that they don’t like Pakistani actresses doing item numbers and wearing attire which is unacceptable in our culture and society. Vulgar songs are not the reason of a film success, as Waar, the biggest hit of Pakistan didn’t have an item number. Media is the mirror of a society so our films should reflection our cultural, moral and religious values. Even dressing and language should represent and promote our religion and culture. Not only Pakistani movies, but also Indian movies songs and scene, which spread negativity, should be censored.
