ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police have arrested 15 outlaws including six proclaimed offenders and recovered looted items, fake currency, weapons and ammunition from their possession, a police spokesman said.

He said that Sub-Inspector Muhammad Tehseen from Special Investigation Unit (SIU) nabbed two outlaws including a proclaimed offender identified as Jan Masih, Imran and recovered cash Rs. 2,50,000, welding plant and other items worth Rs. 4,50,000 from them. SIU team also nabbed another proclaimed offender identified as Shaukat and recovered cash Rs. 1,00,000 from him.

Karachi Company police arrested Ameer Nawaz and recovered fake currency worth Rs. 3,000 from him while Shalimar police nabbed Nazia Bino for her alleged involvement in theft activity.  Shehzad town police recovered 30 bore pistol from an accused Ejaz while Nilore police also recovered 30 bore pistol from Sohail.

Koral police nabbed three professional alm-seekers and registered cases against them for further legal action.  Various police stations of Islamabad Police nabbed five proclaimed offenders during their crackdown against criminals at large.

SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani has appreciated this overall performance and directed all police officials to intensify efforts in apprehending criminals.
